IMAGE - Self Initiated Brief - Razor wrappers
Interesting little website with an extensive collection of razor blade wrappers. There are some nice visuals and typefaces in use which I find inspiring for the work I'll produce over the Easter break.
Here are a few that stood out for me. I like the aged and grained effect on them. I've chosen these ones mainly because I like the colours and the type.

DVD packaging - BBC
For my DVD package I was thinking of keeping it simple and actually using a DVD case. I did consider some more innovative resolutions but I feel that I will focus too much on the package and not enough time on the content or the packaging will become neglected and be a rushed last minute design.
These are some of BBC's wildlife documentary DVD covers. They use nice crisp imagery usually derived from the programme. I think I will apply a similar layout but using my illustrations.
