Visual language - Books and Book Craft More Artists.

Georgia Russell uses a scalpel to cut, shred and slice books into these really spectacular deconstructive sculptures. There are several links to websites about her and her work on this post, my favourite being thedesignfiles.net it features her work in a more calm and legible side and she makes the covers of books look really fun and unusual.

Similarly to Russell, Sue Blackwell cuts out parts of books to make these delicate sculptures and gives the viewer the sensation that the book is coming to life.
