WIDFP? - Colour for Print

Information and Wayfinding

CMYK

SPOT COLOUR

I really like this poster design because of the theory behind it. As a visual I find it a it bland but the background and referencing really engages me because it goes into great depth to form the visual. Below is the the idea behind the design sourced from the blog I found it on.

'The right to freedom of opinion and expression. The right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media. Article 19 of the universal declaration of Human Rights is a powerful starting point that informs and inspires the work of wikileaks. Here — denied his right of freedom — Bradley Manning is censored out by that statement. Referencing digital data encryption, the ‘pixels’ of the digital typeface are in fact QR codes, each of which links to a different scandal exposed by wikileaks.'

In terms of print, I think its a spot colour as it has a grayscale halftone image with a green flood colour.
